Program Meetings

Our Program Meetings will take place at Montecassino Hotel & Event Venue
3710 Chesswood Drive - Downsview, Ontario Canada M3J 2W4.

Directions:

Facility is on the North West corner of Shepard Ave. and Chesswood Dr.  The entrance is from Chesswood Dr. only so, if you are going southbound on Chesswood, it is the last driveway on your right before the traffic lights at Shepard. Chesswood Dr. runs north-south between Finch and Shepard Avenues. Accessible from Downsview subway station (15 minute walk or a 2 minute bus-ride)

By car:

From the North or West - Hwy 400, exit at Finch Ave. East, turn right(south) at Chesswood Dr. and just before the road ends at Shepard Ave. intersection (lights), Montecassino is the last driveway on your right. 

From the 407, exit at Keele southbound, turn left(east) at Finch Ave., turn right(south) at Chesswood Dr. and just before it ends at Shepard Ave. intersection (lights), Montecassino is the last driveway on your right. 

From the East or South take Hwy 401 to Allen Rd. North, left (west) on Shepard Ave., right(north) on Chesswood Dr., then turn left(west) immediately at first driveway into Montecassino.

The meetings start at 6:00 PM, with informal networking. Meetings will be called to order at 6.30 pm and the presentations will start at 6.45 PM

All who are interested in Quality are welcome at the section meetings! Attendance is free to ASQ Toronto section members as found on our electronic list at the registration desk. All others - a $10 fee is payable at the door. New members will receive their $10 fee back if they provide evidence that their section membership has started but was not updated in our electronic list. Recertification units for attending a meeting will only be confirmed byour section if a non-member or e-member of the section has paid the $10/meeting fee.The section will not maintain attendance record of non-members and e-members.
 

Process Based Auditing
 
Process Based Auditing  (Jan 11, 2012) 

This session will be beneficial to anyone who conducts audits. Carolyn will share her approach to conducting process based audits and share tips to make your audits more effective. Discussion points will include understanding processes and interactions, audit planning, identifying and following trails, sampling techniques and using performance indicators to audit for effectiveness. 

Bio for Carolyn Macdonald 

Carolyn is an IATF Certified Automotive Auditor , RABQSA Certified Lead Quality System Assessor and Environmental Lead Auditor

She has been conducting 1st, 2nd and 3rd party assessments since 1998. She has audited on behalf of several global registration organizations including KIWA International Cert, BSI, TUV, DQS and KPMG.

Carolyn is a partner in CMAC INC a Training and Consulting Organization in Mount Forest Ontario.

She supports several of her long term clients by managing their internal audit programs, training new auditors, conducting witness audits and implementing quality and environmental management systems.

Organizations she works will include part and equipment manufacturers, coatings suppliers, construction, nuclear, and many service industries.
