He will share withyou a specific unique process of applying Six Sigma philosophies tocapital projects and showcase several project examples and detailed toolusage throughout this unique process. By sharing with you some of MLF'snumerous successes over the years in applying Six Sigma, Alex hopes toshowcase the benefits of Maple Leaf Foods Six Sigma philosophy as notmerely another "Quality Program", but rather as a way of incorporating SixSigma Quality into the very nature of MLF's company culture and DNA.

About The Speaker - Alex Kurm

-Bachelor of Chemical Engineering from Ryerson University with over 12years experience in working with the Six Sigma philosophy at severaldifferent businesses.

-7 years of Six Sigma experience at Maple Leaf Foods

- currently a memberof the Six Sigma Leadership Council for Maple Leaf Foods.- Previously Six Sigma practitioner at 2 different operating companieswithin General Electric (GE Lighting & GE Nuclear).

-Hands on exposure in applying Six Sigma principles and analysis withinmanufacturing, engineering, sales, finance, supply chain, marketing andmergers & acquisitions.
