Toronto Quality Certificate Program

The majority of the community colleges in the GTA and surrounding areas offer the ASQ Toronto’s Toronto Quality Certificate Program. The program was developed by ASQ Toronto Education Committee to provide a broad based education in Quality, based on the Books of Knowledge (BOKs) of the ASQ Certified Quality Technician (CQT), Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Quality Manager (CQM) and Certified Quality Auditor (CQA). They are often called generically ‘CQX’. The TQC Program courses are updated when the BOKs are updated.
The purpose of the TQCP Program is to give a good grounding for the material in the BOKs. It is does not provide final preparation to a student for a CQX exam. Studying past exams, or a refresher course, will help students in their final preparation.
Basic and Advanced Certificates are awarded, based on successful completion of the program courses, as described below.
Courses taken and successfully completed at any of the nine colleges are accepted by each of the colleges towards your certificate.
This program is usually offered as a set of fourteen or fifteen-week evening courses, as determined by each college. Some Colleges offer day courses.
